CPR & Defibrillator Training
Now that public access defibrillators are being installed around our area, Loose Parish Council and the North Loose Residents Association have agreed that it is sensible to offer training for people who would like to acquire skills in the use of this equipment.
Mick Abbott has kindly offered to run training sessions as follows:
Wednesday 31st October 2018 King George V Pavilion, Loose 9.30am and 12noon
Each session will last for 2 hours and classes will be for a maximum of 12 people.
Candidates wishing to put themselves forward for training must be able to kneel and must appreciate that performing CPR whilst waiting for the defibrillator to arrive is absolutely vital for the casualty and will be strenuous.
Course content will include:
(a) management of the unconscious casualty (b) CPR and (c) defibrillation
The course will be free and you will be able to purchase a quality First Aid book for £2.
If you wish to apply for a place, please choose the time that suits you and email your name and contact phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org
