The Loose Parish Pavilion at the King George V playing field was erected in 1996 for the benefit of the people of Loose and surrounding area. It is a meeting place for the Loose Parish Council and its various committees and also hosts a range of other activities provided by various groups.
It is also ‘home’ to Musical Merry Go-Round, KCC Stay & Play, Brownies, 1st & 2nd Loose Rainbows, Slimming World, Glowing Fitness (Pilates), Zumba Gold, Loose WI and Loose Valley WI.
In 2018, the parish council introduced a Community Coffee morning, which is held on the second Wednesday of each month, currently from 9am-12 noon. (This is due to be reviewed at the March monthly meeting of the parish council).
The Pavilion is available for hire both during the day and evenings up until 10pm. The hall has chairs and tables to seat up to 70 people (58 adults 12 children), but it can accommodate approximately 100.
The committee has been granted a music licence which means that amplified music can now be played in the pavilion up until 10pm. There is a noise restriction attached to the licence of 65 decibels.
The Pavilion is a good venue for local meetings, community groups, child and family parties.
