Loose Village Fete

The annual Loose Village Fete has been running since 2008. It is currently administered by the parish council’s Events Committee.

We are always keen to hear from anyone who is willing to help either with the organisation of the fete or on the day.

This is an annual community event usually held on the first Saturday in September.

In 2017, the fete’s theme was ‘Heroes and Heroines’ and it was held on Saturday 2nd September 2017 and again incorporated a dog show and games for the children, as well as a prize for the best themed stall, which was won by South Park WI.

The fete raised a profit of £1,785.82 for the KGV Community Hub Project.

Many thanks to all those who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable day.

The Loose Parish Council also has a dedicated fete website.

The 2018 event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 1st September.  The first Loose Parish Council Events Committee meeting for the fete, will be held on Monday 22nd January 2018.  If you have some ideas that you would like to put forward or would like to get involved in the fete’s organisation, please contact the parish office.
