LOOSE PARISH COUNCIL
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN – UPDATE
Loose …a place apart
Update August 2016
In late September the draft Neighbourhood Plan (pre-submission consultation draft) will be offered to residents and businesses of Loose Parish for comment. Currently, the LPC are liaising with it’s consultants and Maidstone Borough Council over content. The comments from the parish will be appended to the plan and passed to Maidstone Borough Council, the local planning authority. The plan will then be published for further consultation. Following this it will be independently examined by a planning inspector. If the plan is “sound” it will be put to a parish referendum.
HOW WILL YOU BE INVOLVED?
Loose Parish Council will deliver, by mail-drop, details of where and when the plan can be seen. Your comments can be made via a questionnaire that with accompany the mail-drop. It will also be on line.
YOUR COMMENTS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN PROCESS AND WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
There will be an opportunity to discuss the draft plan, as it stands at that stage, with members of the Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group at the Village Fete on September 3rd.
For further details please contact Jan Capon, Parish Clerk. (email, office @loose-pc.uk or 01622 692712)
