Because of a railway bridge inspection, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Buckland Road and St Peter’s Street, Maidstone, on or after 19 January 2019 for up to 2 nights between 23.00hrs and 07.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
Buckland Road – at the bridge over the railway
The alternative route westbound is via St Peter’s Street, Buckland Road. Eastbound is via Buckland Hill, A20 London Road, A229 The Broadway, St Peter’s Street, Buckland Road.
St Peter’s Street – outside Travel Lodge
The alternative route northbound is via A229 St Peter’s Bridge/Fairmeadow/The Broadway, A20 Terrace Road/London Road, Buckland Hill. Southbound is via A20 London Road, A229 The Broadway, St Peter’s Street, Buckland Hill.
