Temporary Road Closure – Various Roads, Maidstone – from 1 August 2018 for up to 18 months

Because of carriageway resurfacing, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads in Maidstone on or after 1 August 2018 for up to 18 months or until the works have been completed. Planned dates will be indicated by signage displayed on site 30 days in advance. Road closures and other restrictions will be in effect when the appropriate signage and barriers are in place.

St Michaels Road, Maidstone – From Junction with Upper Fant Road to junction with A26 Tonbridge Road
08:00 – 18:00 for up to 5 days
Alternative Route via Upper Fant Road, Hackney Road, Fant Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa

A249 Sittingbourne Road (Detling Hill), Detling (Northbound Only) – From M20 Junction 7 Southbound to M2 Junction 5 (Stockbury Roundabout) NORTHBOUND ONLY
21:00 – 06:00 for up to 10 nights of works
Alternative route via M20 Junction 7 to M20 junction 6 (London bound), A229 Blue Bell Hill between M20 Junction 6 to M2 Junction 3 (Northbound), M2 Junction 3 to M2 Junction 5 (coast bound)

Alternative route for non-motorway traffic to be advertised at a later date
B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh – From junction with Dean Street to Station Hill
20:00 – 06:00 for up to 10 nights of works
Alternative route via B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 College Road, A229 College Road, A229 Broadway, A20 Tonbridge Road, A26 Tonbridge Road (And vice versa)
